Splash-Protection Face Shields: Info & Instructions
These are provided in flat-pack form and are easily assembled by the user.
Our face shields are designed to prevent the splash, spray and transfer of non-corrosive fluids.

Materials:
- Visor: Clear 0.5mm PETG (Not potentially harmful Acetate)
- Brow Spacer: White Thermoformed (1mm PST)
- Padding: Closed Cell Polyethylene Foam (Thickness 3mm, Length 80mm)
- Back Head Band: White Elastic (Width: 20mm, Length: 350mm)
- Fasteners: Plastic Push Rivets (Qty 3)
Assembly Instructions
Please follow our instructions as follows.
- Remove product from packaging.
- Sterilise product as per institution guidelines and the "Cleaning and Disinfection" suggestions below.
- Apply foam strip to inside of brow spacer.
- Tie knot on one end of elastic back head band.
- Feed elastic through one back slot in brow spacer.
- Place on head and determine position of second knot for other end of elastic.
- Insert loose end of elastic into opposite brow spacer slot and tie securing knot.
- Remove protective film from visor (handle carefully to avoid scratches)
- Secure visor to head brow with plastic rivets.
PLEASE NOTE: This product does not come pre-sterilised.
Cleaning and Disinfection
Always consider that the shield about to be cleaned may be contaminated.
Self-protection before cleaning is advised. Use gloves and a face-mask or face-shield.
- Assemble equipment: Place the following on a work surface near a sink with a warm water source:
- Sterilized cleaning pad or cloths
- One of the following recommended solutions:
- Isopropyl Alcohol, 70-75%, duration 5+ minutes
- Ethanol, >70%, duration 5+ minutes
- Sodium Hypochlorite, 0.01-0.5%, duration 5+ minutes
- Sodium Hypochlorite, 0.01-0.5%, duration 5+ minutes
- PVP-I (iodine disinfection), duration 4%, 5+ minutes
- Hydrogen Peroxide, 6-25%, duration 5+ minutes
- Soap Water, repeated washing, duration 5+ minutes
- Prepare cleaning area: By disinfecting the work surface before you begin.
- Prepare shields: Place the unopened bag containing contaminated face-shields near the working area. Remove infected shields. Dispose of contaminated bag. Note:
- To ensure the shield is cleaned properly, it is recommended that each shield is dissembled first.
- To avoid cross contamination do not clean multiple shields at one time.
- Clean and disinfect shields: Submerge the face shield parts into the disinfection solution, ensuring that 100% of the surface comes into contact with the disinfectant.
- Clean the shields with the pad and soapy water.
- Rinse well under running water and place on a cleaned surface to dry.
- Conduct hygiene: Discard used gloves and perform hand hygiene.
- Note: An aerosol disinfectant may be utilized as an alternative. Two applications of the aerosol is advised to ensure that the entire surface is disinfected properly.

- SHIPPING: All domestic and international shipments by the Seller are Ex-Works (EXW), as defined by Incoterms 2000. Risk of loss for Goods will transfer to Buyer upon Seller presenting Goods to carrier. If Seller prepays shipping, insurance, or other related costs, Buyer agrees to reimburse Seller promptly for the actual costs incurred by Seller.
